The first thing you can do is a spot treatment. You can buy these treatments right over the coutner, and they will attack the problem directly. There are quite a few different options for spot treatment. Some are overnight treatments, and some might be built into a makeup. Obviously men won’t use the makeup treatment…well…not many men, but it is a nice touch for women. One thing that you really need to keep in mind is that you don’t want to over-apply the treatment. Doing this will land you with cracked or even flaky skin. It might even be worse than that actual pimp.

Masking is yet another option that you might take advantage of. The idea here is to actually unclog the pores, which really helps in the reduction of acne. This isn’t an old treatment. In fact it has actually been used for many years. To buy a mask, simply visit a few stores and find the one that you want. Don’t leave the mask on overnight, and don’t overuse it, as this could lead to further complications.

If you absolutely cannot live with the pimple, then you do have the option of making a trip to your esthetician. They can zap the pimple and that will get rid of it quite nicely. This can be a bit expensive, so you might want to save this particular option for absolute emergencies.

Ice is always a great option! You can apply the ice to your pimple, and it will actually cause the swelling to go down. Just make sure it isn’t touching your skin directly. Let’s just say that ice cubes tend to stick to skin, and when you try to pull it off you might cause more damage to yourself than you were actually intending. Make sure that you wrap the ice cube up in a paper towel or napkin. If you wish you could also put it within a plastic sandwich bag.

Getting rid of pimples has become much easier in this day and age.
